Subject: Redmond, WA, USA: Experimentation Platform (multiple positions) at Microsoft (Windows Live)

Microsoft recently announced our ambition to "Win the Web" by delivering a new suite of software services we're calling Windows Live. A major component of this strategy to win is to provide new ways for independent developers and Microsoft developers to build or improve their own experiences by tapping into our services, i.e. expose our own massive-scale services as a rich developer platform.

The Experimentation Platform team will provide critical infrastructure for developers to conduct A/B tests of different features, enabling data-driven innovation and iterative development. Utilizing randomized experimental designs, which is the best-known scientific method for establishing causality between a feature and its effects, the platform will collect multiple metrics and provide analysis tools to improve insights about the value of different features to customers, helping optimize the overall customer experience.

The platform will initially be used for internal Microsoft development, and then extended to external developers.

Multiple positions are available, including development manager, test manager, architect, multiple development engineers, and program managers.

See exp-platform.com/ep_jobs.aspx for details.

Please submit resume to rkjobs at microsoft dot you know what, with the subject
