The ideal candidate will be able to identify client's key business problems, apply SPSS technology to solve their problems, and present results and business recommendations to their executives. Job Requirements:

• Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in statistics, social sciences, market research, operations research, or related quantitative discipline. A strong business and analytic background may substitute for the advanced degree.
• 2-3 years work experience in Data Mining; experience in retail, telco, financial services, or insurance a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of multiple modeling techniques including neural nets, decision trees, clustering and association analysis, rule induction, etc. as well as classic multivariate statistics.
• Experience with time series analysis and forecasting methods a plus.
• Excellent communicator; comfortable in front of clients.
• Knowledge of Clementine and SPSS software a plus.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally as a vital member of the team.
• Proven ability to architect production data mining systems a plus.
• Experience in e-business and web technology projects a plus.
• Experience with MS Sequel Server and/or Oracle databases a strong plus.
• Domestic travel required; willingness to travel internationally a plus.
