ADMET software from Simulations Plus Inc. deploys Miner3D visual data mining technology

NEWARK, Delaware - August 4th, 2008 -- Miner3D®, the visual data analytics innovations leader, today announced collaboration with Simulations Plus Inc. (www.simulations-plus.com), the leading developer of Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism and Excretion (ADME) neural net and simulation software for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries today.

ADME software allows pharmaceutical scientists to predict certain key potential drug dynamics, such as absorption, in silico, thereby eliminating multi-million dollar clinical trial failures and speeding up the time to market of effective new medications.

Miner3D data visualization engine is now integrated into the 4D Data Mining tool in version 3.0 of ADMET Predictor(TM) software developed by Simulations Plus. ADMET Predictor generates estimates of 77 crucial properties (physicochemical, pharmacokinetic, metabolic, toxic) of chemical compounds from their molecular structures. Its 4D Data Mining tool is used by pharmaceutical researchers to visualize structural aspects of important properties of new drug candidates.
