The Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics (UCLA) is a national research institute funded by the National Science Foundation. This summer school has received funding from the NSF Approaches to Combat Terrorism program. Following is the course information:

Intelligent Extraction of Information from Graphs and High Dimensional Data, July 11-29, 2005. This is a three-week intensive summer school for pre-and-post-doctoral students, researchers, and academics with tutorials, lectures and software demonstrations. Experts in the fields of data mining and extraction, dimensionality reduction and data modeling, image metrics, image reconstruction, kernal methods, image detection and recognition, speech recognition, social networks and network dynamics have been invited to speak.
