The Department of Statistical Science at Cornell University invites applications for a professorial position at any rank. Candidates must possess potential for leadership in the core research and teaching missions of the Department, as well as a serious commitment to interdisciplinary work. A PhD in statistics or related mathematical science is required. The rank of the appointment will depend on the qualifications of the candidate. The search will continue until the position is filled. While there is no particular deadline for applications, those received by January 15, 2009 will ensure full consideration for the 2009- 2010 academic year.
