The previous KDnuggets Poll asked: What data mining tools have you used for a real project (not just for evaluation) in the past 6 months?

In the commercial software category, the top 2 tools were SPSS Clementine and Salford Systems.

For Clementine, only 19% of its reported users were from US, (with top 3 countries being US, Italy, Switzerland). For Salford Systems, 61% of its users were from the US (followed by Australia and Ukraine).

Among free/open-source systems, the top vote getter was RapidMiner, 75% of whom were from Germany.
