What did you use for data storage for significant data mining projects in the past year?

Multiple choices were allowed and over 50% of the respondents said that they used text files.

About 40% used the data mining system format, and about 40% used a database.

Compared to 2005 poll results, fewer people voted in 2006.

Also, more people chose text format than a database system in 2006, while the opposite was true in 2005. A coincidence or a self-selected sample?
