Mohr, Davidow Ventures (MDV), an early stage venture capital firm recognized by entrepreneurs for its hands-on guidance, today announced that Rohit Sharma and Brian Lent have joined the firm as Entrepreneurs-in-Residence (EIR), a role that enables them to apply, respectively, extensive knowledge of networking and systems, and search technologies, analytics/business intelligence and unstructured database systems in pursuit of new business opportunities.

Most recently the founding CEO of Intelligent Results, Lent also held various senior technical and marketing management positions at Amazon.com leading efforts in complex systems data mining, data warehousing, CRM, decision support, and e-commerce search and shopping engines.
