Software

the new TextQuest version 1.2 is available. It has a new readability
analysis module that works with formulae based on syntactic criteria.
Comparing to the old Intext module it has been extended:

- 24 different formulae from Flesch and derivates, Fry, SMOG, FOG
(gunning index), Coleman-Liau
- formulae for German texts (Amstad, Wiener Sachtextformel,
Tr�nkle/Bailer, Text-Redundaz-Index)
- statistics on syllables, words, sentence structuring characters (,;-),
sentence ending characters (.!?)
- frequency tables and means

You can download a test version from http://www.textquest.de (follow the
links there, start with the description). Customers of TextQuest will
receive the newest version for free in the text days.

If you are interested in analysing web content, have a look at
http://www.textgrab.com. This program downloads whole websites and
prepares them for a further analysis with TextQuest.
