The company is a leader in analytical eCRM, providing technology and
services that optimize marketing investments.
Applying customer intelligence to drive business strategy at all customer
touch points, they help clients improve campaign effectiveness, lower the
cost of acquisition and retain their most profitable customers.
We are looking for an experienced analytics professional to oversee
a team of statisticians, as well as provide high level strategic insight
and direction for all team client deliverables.
In a nutshell this person will spend about half of their time in a client
facing position working on CRM strategy, and the other half on high end
analysis.
Position -- Director � Customer Analytics
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
The Director, Customer Analytics will report to the Group Director,
Customer Analytics (who reports to the CEO) and will have a number of important
responsibilities, including:
- Developing and overseeing the development of multivariate statistical
models utilized for the analysis of both database and survey data (examples
include logistic regression, CHAID, cluster analysis, factor analysis,
discriminant analysis, multinomial logic, and conjoint analysis)
- Developing and overseeing the development and interpretation of testing
and measurement strategies for both on-line and off-line marketing campaigns
- Growing and improving analytic capabilities and working with the Group
Director, Customer Analytics and sales staff to sell these
capabilities to new and existing clients
- Managing, growing and training the analyst staff
- Developing and overseeing budgets and timelines for all team client
deliverables
- Ensuring that all analytic projects are run profitably and team members
are fully utilized
- Working with the other Directors and the Group Director to Coordinate
and manage the resources, training, budgets and client deliverables across
multiple offices and multiple analytic teams
- Working with the Group Director and other Directors to develop policies,
procedures, and methodologies relevant to the Analytics arena
Qualifications To perform this job successfully:
- 5+ years experience developing and interpreting multivariate statistical
models both in a database environment and a research environment
- Previous management experience
- Previous experience in dealing with large databases and datasets
- Experience in an agency, direct -mail supplier or consulting environment
a plus
- Must have experience with SAS, SPSS or other statistical processing
software package
- Desire to work in a very fast-paced environment
- Education --Masters Degree in Statistics, Math, Operations Research
or other related field (Ph.D. a plus)
